YOU'VE BUILT A BUSINESS
You’ve built a family. And there’s this extended family you were born into. You may be operating the business, or you may have sold it and now have a new kind of business – a family office. At the intersection are complexity, subtlety, personalities, differences, emotions, high-stake decisions, and so much more.
And you’re the person everyone is looking at to get it right! Or at least you’re one of them. It weighs on you. That role and responsibility have been yours for a long time.
The Soft Stuff is the Hard Stuff
It’s hard to tell sometimes whether you’re gaining on it, or if it’s gaining on you! You’re up to the task but not getting any younger. The kids are growing up, getting older, having more babies.
On some level you’re exhausted. And at least a little confused. Unsure what to do so it “all turns out right.”
The list of challenges in any family enterprise is endless. Roles, performance, expectations, needs, those in the business, those outside, conflict, ownership, leadership, it goes on and on.
Especially if it’s a family office, how do we keep the younger generations engaged? They’re in such a different world than yours has been.

There is a solution, and it starts with you.
My skill is deep listening. The work I do creates miracles. You have no idea how much your world will change once you start clearing out the things that have been in your way. I know how to do that. I’ve got 40 years serving family business owners and other successful entrepreneurs. Combined with a master’s degree in psychology. And 11 years in my coaching business taking clients to levels of success they’ve wanted but just didn’t know how to create.
Success is money, but way more than that. Your success is living in peace. It’s thriving relationships. It’s waking up excited every day. It’s the feeling of fulfillment and joy. It’s growing your business to be bigger and better. It’s more time, and less stress. It’s whatever you want, created on purpose. This is the higher-level success we create.
I’m not going to talk about succession planning directly, the alcoholic in the family, that business has been running flat, conflict between the brothers, or any of that. There are always a ton of different issues. The process, the what happens to clean them up, that’s all the same.

Let’s say you’ve got things you really need to change. That’s a safe bet. That’s everybody.
Let’s also see you ready to pursue that change. Now we’re down to a small fraction. Most people are too busy, too afraid, too cheap, too uncomfortable, too skeptical, whatever. Those are reasons they don’t have everything they say they want.
Ultimately, you must get past “ready to pursue” to unwavering commitment. Big creation comes from big commitment.
Here are two plans, for your consideration. I’m giving you Plan 2 first.
Plan 1
Plan 1 is up to three complimentary conversations. It is how we create a no risk path for you to figure out if you can get to Plan 2?
Know this before we get started.
- I will have a great deal of context for you and your world. We will begin to understand whatever is going on very quickly.
- My skill is asking questions, deep listening, and helping you see things you can’t see.
- I am willing to invest in you. In service to you. I will not make a sales call or presentation. I’m interested in you, not me. I do not need any particular client.
Between the conversations, there will be a little work for you, a half hour or up to an hour. Time for you to reflect and ask yourself a few questions.
Plan 2
Plan 2 is a one-year coaching engagement. This is where we will create the change you want. I didn’t say might, will try to, or any of that. I said: Will. Exactly how much, how far, how fast, that will depend on you.
Plan 2 requires your deep commitment to doing what it takes to create the things you say you want. We meet on video calls twice per month. You are the agenda. What you want to create is the agenda. I take you there.
Your Invitation to connect
If you accept my invitation, we’ll schedule a video conversation, I’ll ask, you’ll share, we’ll reflect together. You’ll walk away feeling something meaningful. You’ll have a lot to think about that. At the end of Plan 1, I’ll know if you’re a fit for the work I do. We can then talk about Plan 2, only if you want to.

If you make it through to Plan 2. That is, if you fully commit to doing the things you need to do to create whatever it is you say you want. And to engaging in the process of creating it with me. Your world will change. You will transform. Your life will change in ways you can’t imagine.
It’s just what happens for those who make the decision and do the work. Getting past your business being stuck, or learning how to create more without working and stressing so much, or whatever you’re after.
It’s about learning how to create change. Skills and a way of being in the world you will use over and over. Everything will begin to shift. Unwanted will become less, the things you want will become more.
The problem is that you lack the context to fully understand what I’m even talking about. And to believe what sounds too good to be true.
That’s why I’ve created and offered you Plan 1.

avoiding failure
What’s the cost of status quo? When I see someone who has created such success on one level. They may have $100 million, a good family, faith, character, respect, homes, trips, and lots more.
And they’re worried, stressed, spending half their time doing things they don’t want to be doing. They’re tired, and the clock is clicking. Often, they’ve ignored their own health and well-being. In fact, they’ve been taking care of everyone but themselves.
This is the silent killer. It’s the great stuff you’re missing out on every day, wrapped in the cover of a partially successful life. It’s the leak in your lifeboat. You need to stop bailing and fix the boat!
My clients have gotten a bead on all of that. We get very clear that it will no longer be tolerated. From there, it’s game over. That’s why there are business owners and others out in the world saying:
