We all want to inspire others, don’t we? In everyday ways. Any time we’re trying to get someone to do something we want to have done. With children and family. We want them to hear us, hear our guidance, and act. It’s all leadership.
In your company and/or career, you’re leading every day. How well are you leading? How are people responding and are they creating 150% of what you’re looking for, or only 50%? Are you neutral, motivating or inspiring?
I know I’ve used this Dwight D. Eisenhower quote before in my newsletters, but it’s a perfect fit here. He said: Leadership is getting someone to do something you want him to do because he wants to do it.
